It's tough because I want more creativity and people to be more involved. Same how it was once everyone had high speed internet. I've used AI to make funny songs for the group chat, edited writing, and planned/structured plans. I think it has benefits and my only issue like many others is that its run by 5 huge mega corporations feeding stolen work, but considering politicians are so tech illiterate nothing will change.
Also, I used to get so mad at people on Substack for making AI art for posts or logos, but the ones I appreciate are growing and seeing why that's a red flag.
Yeah I agree... having so much money fed into these 5 corps means they should be able to license the art they train their models on. And because it's the wild West w/on regulation right now, we won't see that happening anytime soon. For now, it does seem to give people more accessibility to creativity and expression which is good. I still believe our ideas, creativity, and our years of learning our craft will prevail over any machine tho. I'm still waiting and navigating what this all means to us as creatives for the future.
